VGRA was once defined by participation, transparency, and shared responsibility. Families gathered, members volunteered, and decisions were made openly.
Many members are not seeking conflict. They are seeking a return to the cooperative, member-driven association VGRA was meant to be.
VGRA’s bylaws describe a member-controlled organization with directors elected by the membership. Many members believe this process has not been followed as intended in recent years, creating confusion and concern about governance and accountability.
Members are requesting a properly noticed meeting, conducted in accordance with the bylaws and Colorado nonprofit law, where the membership may vote on board leadership through a transparent process.
Signing the petition requests transparency, accountability, and a lawful vote of the membership. Signing does not remove anyone automatically.
